Some might say that they buy comics for the cover art, but to me the most impact is the To Be Continued page.
It's the page that grabs you and says "You never saw this coming, did you?" The page that holds the promise of great things to come. Its the Cliffhanger, the place where all secrets are revealed, the place where the face of the enemy is known and the Hero is defeated. The page that screams READ THE NEXT ONE OR ELSE.
